This is the basic thread you will ever find in a Zelda discussion board. Post your favourite Zelda game here and why it's your favourite.

Mine is (dramatic music) A Link to the Past. If it wasn't why would I base this forum off of the game? It saved the series from falling victim to no fans after the 'failure' that was Adventure of Link. It had the first story inside the game, it's difficulty was perfect, had a good length and an ultimate ending. All Zelda games borrow something from this game. It is a major staple for all its future releases.

Ocarina of time, this game started it all for me, I was not even interested in gaming before i played this game... Thank you ocarina of time, for starting my life of laziness and massive gaming...

I don't know how many of you know this, but my first foray into the world of Zelda was with A Link to the Past. If it weren't for that game, I never (maybe not never...) would have gotten involved with the Zelda franchise. I got stuck after the first dungeon, and set it aside for about a year. Then I picked it up, got past the East Palace, and was on my way to perputual enjoyment.

Yea, and such harder enemies then TP right?!?!? and SPOILERS! when you fight Armoghoma at the Temple of Time, so easy, the very first Ghoma in OoT was harder than that, compared to size they just copyed it from OoT onto TP only larger.

P.S I am now a Swordsman
